My Frame Tv will automatically turn itself on to Samsung TV mode after sitting in Art mode (without any room activity e.g. away from home or in bed). We come home and the TV is not only on but the volume is high.

Any way to stop this

  1. Check for Software Updates: Ensure your Frame TV has the latest software updates.

  2. Disable Auto Power On: Turn off "Power On with Mobile" in Settings.

  3. Reset Power Settings: Reset power-saving settings to default in System Manager.

  4. Motion and Sound Detection: Adjust or disable Motion and Sound Detection settings.

  5. Check External Devices: Disconnect external devices to rule out triggers.

  6. Factory Reset (if needed): If issues persist, consider a factory reset. Backup data first.

  7. Contact Samsung Support: If problems persist, reach out to Samsung Support for assistance.

It's been 5 or more months with this problem. Samsung has no fix, no acknowledgement of the problem. No official response that they are working on a solution. Basically there is no fix and we have to deal with it.

Started happening to mine yesterday 12/5/2023 was working fine for a few years before that.

I reset it to factory and it fixed it temporarily. Restarted the problem an hour or two after. I think there was an update to the SmartHub between it working and started failing back to TV from Art mode.
