Ok, I have the QN65QN85DBF TV, and if I press TV Guide by pressing down on the channels button, the TV guide shows "no information" unless I scroll through all the over-the-air channels first. It will show all the tv guide for tv plus without scrolling through those channels.
does anyone have a solution for this? I talked to support and they gave me no solution except to update the tv which it is up to date. They said maybe they will fix it in a later update.
I paid quite a bit of money for this new TV, and it is irritating to have to scroll through all the over-the-air channels first to get the TV guide to work for those channels. The old Samsung tvs guide worked without a problem.
Solved! Go to Solution.

QLED and The Frame TVsHello, Triel! I understand how frustrating it must be when your TV Guide doesn't work properly for your over-the-air (OTA) channels. This behavior occurs because Samsung TV Plus channels use your internet connection to instantly pull guide data, whereas standard OTA antenna channels typically rely on the digital signal broadcast by each individual station to fill in the "Now & Next" information. There are 3 things we can try to see if that helps.
Run a Fresh Auto Program: This refreshes the digital handshake between your tuner and the local broadcasters. Navigate to Settings > All Settings > Broadcasting > Auto Program and select Start. Ensure "Air" is selected as your source.
Verify Signal Strength: If a signal is weak, the TV may struggle to download the guide data packet for that specific channel. You can check this in Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Signal Information.
Power Cycle: Sometimes a "cold boot" helps reset the tuner cache. Unplug your TV from the wall for 60 seconds, then plug it back in.
If these do not help, I see this TV is coming up as a Caribbean model. You may receive better assistance by contacting the area support for your model here: https://www.samsung.com/latin_en/support/model/QN65QN85DBFXZA/

QLED and The Frame TVsThank you for the response. It is better than I got from the support team.
i did a fresh auto program and it seemed to work. I will see if it still works in the morning. One channel didn't populate but I'm sure it's signal strength cause sometimes that channel goes out.
i didn't realize it was a Caribbean model I just bought it off the web from Samsung website. Wish I knew this before I bought it.

QLED and The Frame TVsThanks for following up with us so quickly. Yes, once we looked up the model, it came back as a Caribbean model. Hopefully, the fresh auto program is a permanent fix. Let us know if the issue comes back.
