Recently I unplugged my hdmi cable and plugged it back in to try and fix a different problem I was having. Now, the screen is smearing textures in dark areas but it's only happening while the TV is set to "Game Mode." This wasn't a problem before.
If I move the screen slightly, dark spots get slightly brighter in an odd way. If I move faster, greens and reds appear where they shouldn't be, lagging behind whatever I panned over.
I've been through every setting I could think of and wasn't locked out of. I went through every suggestion I got from others already. New hdmi cable, color tone, filters (no such filter I could change), changed the gamma, tint, local dimming, hdr, contrast, enhanced contrast, on and on. Nothing stops it unless I turn off "Game Mode."
