QLED and The Frame TVsI have a Q6FN (2018) model which is 2 days old. Last night I was in the settings adjusting the picture for the first time and today when the television was turned on, the Home button on the remote doesn't do anything. Light flashes red on the remote, no menus, no app bar, no nothing. Can't change inputs with the remote, settings or really anything important at all.
I researched it a bit and have tried the following so far: I unplugged the television while off, waited and then plugged it in. Power it up (with the remote) and still nothing. Repeated that process a few times. I have also re-synced the remote (hold Play / Back simultaneously for 3 seconds). It re-syncs successfully, still nothing. All the other buttons on the remote function normal, even the "long" press function of home works which brings up the remote assistance reference number. Short press of Home to access pretty much anything important is the culprit.
Other solutions I've read involve accessing settings to reset the Smart Hub etc. which is of course impossible because I can't get to the settings in the first place.
A little side note for flavor: 7 months ago I got a full refund on a Samsung KS8500 which had 4 repairs in a single YEAR, under warranty. After battling Samsung. I SWORE I would never buy another Samsung product and sat on the money until 2 days ago where after a lot of research I decided to take the leap...give them a second chance. It has the features I want (gaming). It looks great, price isn't bad. My frustration level is well beyond 9000. You know what they say, "fool me once".

QLED and The Frame TVsI had the version prior to 1202.3 and still had problems. 1202.3 was released on Dec. 20. I don't think they confirmed this remote home button issue was a problem soon enough to include it in that release. That being said, I wish they would push an update to fix this already. It's ridiculous!! I'm not likely to purchase another Samsung TV again. There is far too much competition out there to have to deal with this sort of thing. If they really valued their customers an update would have been made available very shortly after the issue was brought to their attention.

QLED and The Frame TVsI came home tonight with the same issue. The home button on my remote does nothing. The red led blinks, but I have to talk and use Bing to switch inputs. Did a full TV reset and nothing fixes it. I'm sure its a firmware issue, but I'm still inside my 90 days from Sam's Club, so I may take it back and go get an LG OLED afterall instead. Love the picture, but this situation is unprofessionsal and lacks proper customer care!

QLED and The Frame TVsI too now have this problem. Had my tv since July 2018. I have 1202.3 last updated in December. Home does not bring up the overlay but I can hear the audio it plays when it would usually disappear from no user input. This is so weird as it just came out of nowhere. Anyone know when they are planning the new firmware release for download? I don’t have 2 hours to waste on the phone to have them mail a usb stick!

QLED and The Frame TVsWe have our specialists looking into this and so far they don't think that 1209.3 is a version that has been release in the US yet. They did say that a Cold boot should get you back up and running at least for the time being though. I'll list out the steps below.
Cold boot:
There are 2 ways to perform a cold boot on the TV.
1) Aim the remote at the TV and press and hold the power button for 5 seconds.
2) Turn the TV back on
Or
1) Unplug the TV for at least 30 seconds
2) Plug the TV back in and turn it on.
