My remote was working fine, but I started at the beginning of the manual and tried the pair tv with remote instructions. It came back with a message saying the remote was already paired. Now my tv is stuck on the rotating artwork that comes free with the tv, and the remote will not do anything--not even turn the tv off. The remote is fully charged, and I have tried to reset and repair after turning my surge protector power strip off for 10 minutes. the red light on the tv and the remote blink, but then nothing happens. Help please! Thanks!
You will actually need to unplug the tv power cord from the surge protector. Turning off a surge protector is not the same as unplugging a TV. The former stops power but does not reset the TV, while the latter completely disconnects it, allowing for a hard reset.
