I have a 4TB SSD hard drive that shows a glowing indicator light when it's plugged into to a computer with either a high speed "Thunderbolt" cable(s) or a USB-B to USB-C cable(s). However, the security log-in does not launch and the drive is not visible in the DIsk Management app. Any suggestions for how to access the drive?
What does Samsung Magician software show ? Is the T9 registeted in your Samsung account? You may need a firmware update. Make sure the usb cable is fully inserted, several have commented the blue light on does not mean the usb cable is fully inserted into the usb jack of the T9 showing the same issues you are having.
The T9 drive is not showing up in Samsung Magician. The cable is firmly inserted into both the drive and the computer. The cable has been checked with other drives with USB-C ports, which are also recognized by Magician.
