I have a brand new Samsung 990 Pro on the Gigabyte B850 Aorus Elite Gaming Wifi7 motherboard, and a Ryzen 7 9800x3d. I am only getting about 100k Random write IOPS when i should be getting 1 million.
Fresh Windows 11 Pro install, LSPM and ASPM disabled, virtualization disabled, core parking disabled, confirmed in every was the m.2 slot is running at pcie gen 4, the drive is 4k aligned properly and isn't overheating (40 Celsius). Full performance is enabled through magician, i tested it with crystalmarkdisk too. I tried with my gpu plugged and unplugged, I tried swapping slots, no luck.

Monitors and MemoryUpgrade to a higher tier motherboard to match the CPU abilities? Like to an X class chipset instead of a low grade B series.

Monitors and MemoryI have the same.
Few months old system, both 2 and 4tb 990pro show also this random write speed.
I have a Gigabyte X870E AORUS PRO, AMD Ryzen 9 9900X and Kingston Fury Beast RGB KF560C30BBEAK2-64.
Somehow it changed, it was not like this in the beginning.
