Hello,

I just received a Lenove T14 laptop form my company and a Samsung 34 inch curved monitor. The laptop detected the monitor all of last week and up to yesterday. But today the monitor is not coming on. I have unplugged and plugged it back in (power and HDMO cable). Tested another cable, ensured that the power source is working. I went into the laptop display settings and it does not detect the monitor. The controls for the monitor are on the bottom/underneath (where you can't see it) and I am pushing and holding down the middle button to try and turn it on or trying to access the monitor menu and nothing is popping up. I have also tried

How do i fix this as I have to get some urgent work done? Please note that I do not have administrator access to the laptop so I can't test to see if the drivers need updating. But Windows check for updates says I am current.

The model number on the back of the monitor is: S34A654UBN. The Model Code is: LS34A654UBNXGO

Thank you.

@Members_HlpZUF8 I'm sure that you have done this, but if not... disconnect the monitor and the laptop and then reboot each. I did have a situation happen like this and my rebooting the monitor solved the connection issue.

Windows can get into some seriously funky modes and features stop working for no good reason. When BT disappears on my Work Windows laptop I know from experience that an update is waiting. I reboot the laptop and BT suddenly is back and work again.

I have done all of these steps. This is a brand new monitor shipped to me by my company, as well as the laptop. It worked all the way through yesterday. Today before turning anything on, I "moved" the monitor from the center of my desk to the left side of my desk. I started the computer and now my laptop says it cannot detect the monitor.

I have unplugged and plugged in all cables in all sorts of ways. I cannot tell with this specific monitor if it is even turned on because there never was an indicator light. Also, the buttons are on the bottom on the monitor underneath it, making it difficult for me to figure out how to navigate it when looking at it.

I have no clue what to do at this point.

I got it working. I literally unplugged and plugged it in, power and HDMI, about 10 times and it finally worked.
