37" ViewFinity S8 (S80UD) with the BN39-02259B 2513 AR USBC to USBC cable.
Was using the monitor with my laptop using the included USBC to connect and now monitor is no longer displaying via USBC. The monitor is recognizing that there's a USB-c connection but is not recognizing it as a display. I know that it's not my laptop because I'm able to use hdmi to usbc adapter and connect my laptop that way. The cable also seems to be working as a standard usbc cable when connecting my phone to my laptop. I unfortunately don't have any other USB-c cable that is capable of being used for display so I can't test that.
I've tried:
- power cycle
- restarting pc and monitor
- reset all option for monitor
based on these tests I'm assuming it's either the monitor or the cable but each component seems to be working at least partially (monitor recognizing USBC but not displaying anything and cable working to charge/data transfer from phone to laptop). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
