Hi All,

I am using the Odessey G8 OLED LS34BG850SUXXU for a while and I really love it, I did run into that sleep issue which everyone is aware of, I fixed this by using a HDMI cable instead of the DP. All was working fine until yesterday when the screen goes into a constant loop of resetting. The picture on the screen goes black, then flashes the screen of “Odyssey OLED secured by KNOX” then it flashes the windows screen and then back to black, then flashes the same “Odyssey OLED secured by Knox”. This is a constant loop.

I have tried changing back to a DP cable and still the same behaviour. I tried it with 2 different machine, one being a home rig the other a work laptop, same result.

this has happened out of the blue, I did not update any firmware.

Has anyone ever seen such an issue?

Hello! Thank you for reaching out! I see how this can be frustrating with your monitor power cycling like this. Please try the steps in the following link to help solve this issue: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01111092/

If these do not help then this will require service, depending on your warranty you will have a few options.

- If your unit was recently purchased, you can check with your retailer on their return/exchange processes.
- If you have an extended warranty you can reach out to them to have service set up.
- If you're within the one year warranty, you can Private message me or one of our moderators or you can call in directly at 1-800- 726-7864 with your full model and serial number to have service setup
