My M3 Macbook Pro has a HDMI and USB-C port and the 49" Odyssey G95SD has a USB-C port. What type of cable should I get for the best output? 1.4 USB-C to DisplayPort?

The type C on the 95SD is not usable for display info and only works with periphials like mouse and keyboard.
Input choices are HDMI and DP so it appears you are left with the HDMI or a type C to DP cable from the MAC.
Personally I choose DP over HDMI.
