Ark Gen2 KVM issues

I have a new Ark Gen 2 and the KVM works fine if I have the computer sources in full screen. It automatically switches from device to device as I switch inputs. If I go into Multi-view, the mouse and keyboard only control the Ark.  I have to switch the inputs from change automatically to tie it directly to the screen I want to control 

I downloaded and installed Easy Setting Box on each machine as I read where that was required, it allowed me to switch between full screen inputs without using the Ark Dial but again in multiview the mouse and keyboard will not uplink to any pc without manually switching rather than having it set to auto connect 

The Ark’s software updated and it shows as the same version available for download so I am at a loss as to what I need to do. I am almost ready to give up and use a regular KVM.

Some Reddit and forum users have had partial success using third-party KVM software (like Synergy, Barrier, or Mouse Without Borders) to simulate control flow across systems — but this requires network connection between PCs and isn’t ideal for every setup.
