My MacBook Pro with the M4 Max Chip connected to the G80SD via DP experiences sudden screen flickering after waking up the computer.

And after the Mac goes to sleep, the G80SD frequently wakes up on its own, prompting that DP is not connected.

After I used HDMI to connect the Mac, all issues were resolved.

My Mac's system firmware is macOS 15.3.1, and the firmware for G80SD is 1313.2.

Does anyone have any good solutions? I can confirm it's not a cable issue; this cable works perfectly with the 32GS95UE and AW3225QF. Of course, I also tried using the DP cable that comes with the G80SD, but it's still the same.

This is a DP cable problem. I have had this type of issue before but with my PC.

I replaced my cable and it was fine. Use the one that came in the Box with the monitor or buy a new high spec / quality cable (but not a long cable).

I am very sure this is not an issue with the DP cable. I have tried replacing many DP cables (including the one in the G80SD box), and it's the same. This problem only occurs at the moment the monitor wakes up to display the Mac input source screen. It does not happen during normal use of the Mac.

I only have a Mac, and I have the PG32UCDP, 32GS95UE, and AW3225QF, none of which have this issue. It can be determined that it is not caused by the cable.

It seems to be a compatibility issue between the G80SD and the Mac.
