Monitors and MemoryBuild New Computer
Ryzen 7 5800X
ASUS ROG Strix B550-I
Samsung - 980 PRO 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe M2
RAM G.Skill 32GB DDR4 Trident Z Royal Silver 3200Mhz
CORSAIR - RMx Series 850W PSU
Couple times a day windows 10 locks up but I can move mouse. Mouse clicks and keyboard do nothing. Have to press reset button and reboot.
Event Viewer shows nothing for minutes preceding lock up. Which in itself make me think this is a disk problem.
I am running the nvme on the PCI 4.0 slot.

Monitors and MemorySwitch M.2 slots to see if it acts the same.
My 980 Pro 1TB runs fine in a Gen3 slot.

Monitors and MemoryI tried this yesterday and so far so good
From what I've read nvme SSD's can have issues when lower power mode is enabled.

Monitors and MemoryThe BIOS in AMD rigs still does not recognize the 980 PRO but I have an MSI X570-A PRO and my SSD seems to be working fine.
I am using a clean install of Windows so fairly stable
