New tv purchased in Nov and continuously has a pop-up message Unknown Project_BT, customer service has been no help whatsoever. Any help on how to get rid of this?

This looks like a device is trying to connect to your TV via Bluetooth. I would suggest going to your TV's Bluetooth settings and making sure to disconnect from it and that should stop the pop-up from happening again.
