LED and OLED TVsHi Everyone,
Has anyone else had this happen? Two days ago, my TV prompted me for an OS update and mentioned it would update when the TV was turned off, so I didn’t think much of it.
The next morning, I turned the TV on, and it worked fine for about a minute before shutting off automatically. Now, stuck with the black screen
I have tried everything unplugging it, power cycling, pressing the power button on the TV, and using the remote to try and reset it but nothing works.
I bought it from Amazon and am now waiting for their technician to check it out, but that could take three or more days.
Has anyone else dealt with this issue or found a fix? Any advice would be appreciated.

LED and OLED TVsNot sure if the same issue but the timing is right. This morning my tv remote won't work. Couldn't turn tv on.... ended up unplugging the tv and now it works with the dish remote but not the Samsung remote. But it was the black screen. Good luck

LED and OLED TVsYep have the same problem with my S90C. I called them they want me to fill out their silly automated repair service locator and the TV's already out of it warranty apparently after a year. It's kind of pathetic of a company to have a year of warranty on a TV that's worth more than 4 mid market TVs when released. Samsung wants me to front the bill with some money on hold with funds of the moment. I expected to have a warranty that would cover this. Thanks Samsung probably will lose me as a customer after this. Perhaps more, with this situation becoming more frequent.
