Hello and welcome to the community! A non-working remote can get annoying so lets get you back up and running shall we?
First, here is a link with some things to try when the moment presents itself: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01202543/#unable-to-turn-on-or-control-the-tv-...
The main thing that I would suggest trying is to reset the remote. To do this, remove the batteries and hold the power button for 8 seconds. Afterwards, but the batteries back in and point the remote at the Samsung logo on the television and power the television back on. More often than not, this ends up resolving the issue. If for some reason it doesn't, please send us a private message so that we can assist further!
