LED and OLED TVsHey everyone,
If youโre reading this, iโve owned my S95D for 12 months and 26 days, and I just had my second major power board failure. The TV is completely deadโit won't turn on at all.
I spent $3,500 on this TV new. Six months ago (when I was still under warranty), techs came out and swapped the power board. They even told me this was a "common issue" with the 2024 models but claimed the new part fixed it. Clearly, it didn't.
Now Iโm out of luck because I'm technically 26 days out of warranty and I have to now get a service tech out to my house again and pay for it this time

LED and OLED TVsAre you sure your home electricity didn't cause a power surge to the board? I generally keep my TVs plugged into a surge protector/UPC because I know I have wonky power.

LED and OLED TVsI didn't have a power outage and I have Arc-Fault Circuit Interrupters on my circuits that should have prevented any issue. I should probably get a UPC to be safe!

LED and OLED TVsHey Matt,
Thanks for the reply. So turns out after the first service, they didn't replace the powerboard with the new updated model. I've attached a photo of the new powerboard they installed versus the old version of the powerboard.

Same exact issue with QN77S95FAFXZA.
service quick was called out for warranty work and to replace the power board. 1 week later Technician comes out and installs new board, said the replacement power board is also defective.
Now waiting another week for replacement of a replacement power board. I paid 5 thousand for this tv and Samsung won't do the right thing by just sending out a new connect box.
I've bought 10 Samsung TVs for myself and family.
You have lost a customer

LED and OLED TVsWhat good will a new connect box do you if the defect is with the power board of the TV itself?
