Playstation Dualshock 4 Controller not working with Samsung Smart TV

Hi, I am trying to connect my Playstation Dualshock 4 game controller to my Smart TV. It connects and pairs with the TV, and even recognizes it as a game controller, however, the TV doesn’t respond to any button presses / input from the controller after connected. The TV is running the latest version of the Tizen operating system.

Software Version: T-KTSU2AKUC-1420.0

UPDATE: I just updated to the latest version of the TV OS, and the controller now works.
