LED and OLED TVsCan anyone help me with this? I have a UN55JU6500 with Smart Hub. I do not purchase cable TV but stream Netflix and Prime. When I turn on the TV, I obviously get a no/weak signal screen but the background is snow. Is there any way to make the background black or something else so I don't have to see snow every time I run on the TV? I have tried running through the auto-programming for channels searching air and cable at the same time, hoping that when no channels are detected, I will get a black screen. It does not seem to work. Ideas? Thanks in advance.

LED and OLED TVsIf your TV allows it in the settings, set it to start with the input you want (HDMI, WIFI, etc.). If there is no choice and it wants to start in regular TV input mode, purchase a cheap antenna, connect it to the TV and, even if you only get one OTA channel, you will not get snow. I had to do this with my cheap LG TV because it was so annoying to get static on turning the TV on. It's an acceptable solution for me. On my larger, main TV, my Roku is in HDMI2 and I can select that input to start up in. The setting might have some wording such as "start up input" or may just start up to the last input selected, but my cheapo LG will not do that, it always reverts to the antenna input upon restart.
