Hey Samsung Community,
I’ve got a problem with my Samsung 55KS8000 TV, and I’m hoping someone can help me out.

The Issue:
It looks like the front glass is coming loose from the TV. Here’s what I’ve noticed in the last few days:
  • Light is leaking from the top and side. The glass is bowing out almost a centimeter at the worst spot on top.
  • Some dark spots have shown up because dust and a couple of fruit flies got trapped behind the glass.
  • There’s some discoloration at the bottom right edge, probably from pressure on the LCD since the glass isn't being supported evenly.
I’ve attached a few photos to show what I’m talking about. This seems like a big manufacturing flaw. The TV has been mounted to the wall since it was first unboxed, isn't near any heat source, and doesn't get exposed to direct sunlight.

Stopgap Solutions:
In the short term, I’m considering unmounting the TV and putting it back on the stand, tilted back a few degrees so the glass remains secure against the TV’s body. Alternatively, I have some adhesive tape from a laptop and can put a strip across the top, but ideally, I’d like to get the dust (and bugs) out first, since they’re fairly prominent in the picture.

What I’m Asking:
I’d really appreciate it if Samsung could help me fix this, even though it’s out of warranty. All parts are intact - it's really just the adhesive that's the problem. I’ve always trusted Samsung for quality (we have a much older 720p TV that's still rock solid), and I’m hoping they can come through on this one. Help!
