LED and OLED TVsUp until this weekend AirPlay worked fine on my series 7 tv, we used it daily. Then I got a message, “low memory, reset tv.” So I did and now when you select AirPlay in the settings the screen goes black. If you try AirPlay from my iPhone now it asks for a code input that’s displayed on the tv screen. Except no code ever appears. I’ve gone through all the suggested fixes which most involve using the settings. Which no longer function. Seems like a software problem, need assistance.

LED and OLED TVsAgreed, they need to be aware in order to fix. Hope they do, I’ve enjoyed my series 7. It’s an older tv so how they handle this will determine my future purchasing options. Thanks again for your assistance.

LED and OLED TVsAre you sure this is on Samsung's end and not Apple's?
Have you checked the Apple boards to see if anyone has the same problem and was able to fix it?

LED and OLED TVsThe same apple device that’s worked flawlessly for years until this low memory, reset issue. The apple device also functions flawlessly with AirPlay on other screens. Samsung software issue.

LED and OLED TVsGo to Settings> WiFi> and tap the ⓘ information symbol, then turn off "Private Wi-Fi Address".Return to your home screen and retry AirPlay - worked for me first time!I then turned the Private Wi-Fi Address back on, and AirPlay again started as normal.
I found this on an Apple discussion board.

LED and OLED TVsThanks for your reply. I tried and it’s still asking for “AirPlay code”. Which it never asked for before. Best guess is when performing the recommended factory reset to solve low memory it now requires the code. And since I can’t access the AirPlay settings without getting the black ded screen. Still stuck, appreciate you trying! Thanks again.
