Clock stays on for about 10 minutes after oven turned off. My manual is wrong about it always showing. It only shows when oven is on. You can touch oven and it comes on, then touch oven again to turn off options, but Clock will show for 10 min. Mine is the slide in 9500 something something. The manual has several errors, and the oven is horrible,. Temp not consistent, light does not come on when you open door if it hasn't been just used...the list goes on. Return yours if you can.
