Kitchen and Family HubI have been a faithful Samsung consumer for a long time, purchasing many dozens of phones, tablets, watches, TV's and home appliances, but not anymore. We ordered Samsung appliances throughout our new home, and one after the other, they continue to break down and Samsung will not support their products or customers.
First our refrigerator's ice machine broke after just 4 months. Next, both our washer and dryer broke down after just 2 years of normal use. Samsung said there was nothing they could do to help us. Now, our Smart Electric Wall Oven with Microwave Combination has stopped heating (same problem as the dryer by the way, heating element failed). So they sent a certified tech to come look at it, took it out of the wall, and said they didn't have the right part, so we'd have to reschedule. (Oh, and they also cracked the wooden wall cabinet that the oven goes in.) Then, a week later, called us and said Samsung sent the wrong part again, so we had to delay yet another week. Then, they called us and said the wrong part was sent AGAIN. Oh, and then they told us that it was multiple parts that needed to be replaced, and it would now cost us $1,300 to repair!!!
So I called 800-Samsung to ask about the situation, and yet again, Samsung has now told us there's nothing they can do for us since we're out of our 1 year warranty period, sorry, and good luck.
If you are reading this, do not even think of purchasing any Samsung appliances. They all break down, and of course... it's always right after the warranty expires.
To be fair, their TV's haven't broken down on us, and I still like their phones and tablets, but after this whole experience, I'll be moving on to other product lines since loyalty obviously means nothing to them as a company.
Goodbye Samsung, you've lost a 20+ year customer that has purchased 10's of thousands of $$$$$ of products from you!!!
