I have a Samsung RS27T5200SR/AA refrigerator. My ice dispenser is not dumping ice unless I hit the test button. I have done all the testing and with support as well. I did simple troubleshooting and nothing helped. I found out how to pull a diagnostics and I get the Error 8A 8Y (mainly) and 8A 0Y. Not sure what to do now. Trying not to spend thousand to get this fixed.
I have the same problem. I have to hit the reset button to get the ice to dump. The ice maker is getting plenty of water and makes ice cubes but will not drop the ice. I’ve followed all the diagnostic steps. It just won’t drop on its own. Please let me know if you called for a technician and they were able to fix the issue.
