Historically, when the refrigerator doors are moved to the open position, they will remain open until I manually close them. Recently, the left door has begun to close on its own after being moved to the open position - without being interacted with. The refirgrator seems level. Does anyone have any advice on this?

Hello! Thank you for reaching out! This issue would be due to it not being level, or possibly wind pushing it, causing this to occur. Also, it could be due to the weight of the items in the door that could be causing this. I would recommend contacting your installer to look at this. As a last option, service would be the only other solution. Depending on your warranty, you will have a few options.

- If your unit was recently purchased, you can check with your retailer on their return/exchange processes.
- If you have an extended warranty you can reach out to them to have service set up.
- If you're within the one year warranty, you can Private message me or one of our moderators or you can call in directly at 1-800- 726-7864 with your full model and serial number to have service setup
- If you're OUT of warranty, you can use this link below to find a service center in your area.

"The refrigerator SEEMS level", so this statement suggests you haven't gotten out a level and verified it have you? That would have been my first step before I made any post. Would you kindly do the same and let us know of your outcome? Or, if you have actually done it already, could you post whether it is actually level or not?

Let me rephrase - I had the refirgerator professionally installed and leveled. I have checked it with my level and it indicates that it is still level.

Thank you for verifying! I just had a thought about level. Did you check the level on the top of the refrigerator or on the top of the door that's swinging open? I would put the level on top of the door and slowly open it and watch the level and see if the bubble moves at all as the door swings open. If it does move then I've got a feeling that the hinge may have moved on the top of the refrigerator. I hope that makes sense.
