How do you bypass the water filter on a Bespoke 4 door fridge with the HAF-CIN filters?

And no, simply removing the filter does not work.

It looks like you are correct. Fortunately the filter housing is easy to remove and disassemble, and simply removing the filter block (the small piece that the filter locks into) and bypassing it with John Guest style 1/4" push-to-fit connectors works. No filter warnings, and full flow.

@LW555 I doubt that there is any built in way to route the water to bypass the filter.

Could you please elaborate on this a bit further? Maybe with pictures if possible? Thank you

Remove the lower shelf and both bins so you have working space. Remove 3-5 screws holding the filter cover in place and remove it. There are plastic clips so be careful, and some relatively short wiring and tubes behind it. It does take a bit of effort to get it out, took me about 5 minutes.

Once you have the cover off, you'll see the block that the filter would connect to. This site won't let me upload pics, so search 'DA61-05525A' and you'll see it in Google, it's a round thing with two ports in the back.

Simply remove the two lines from the block (turn water off first so you don't get a shower!) and connect them together with any 1/4 push-to-fit fitting. I used a 90 degree fitting because it fit better - the tubes are short and somewhat stiff.

You can unscrew and remove the block, dry it out and save it just in case you decide to put things back. Hope that helps.

Thank you. I tried and i am unable to get that cover off. I have bespoke 4 door flex with hxa-qin filter. Did yours look the same?image.jpg

Yes, mine looks like that. On the upper part, you need to remove the screws holding it to the back panel (you can see one of them in your pic), and there are screws on the side, recessed in some of the holes. You kind of have to stick your head in there, or use a mirror to see. Check carefully because some screws are difficult to see.

Then you should be able to pull that upper cover forward and off. Be aware that there's a water reservoir in there, careful not to spill that all over (don't ask me how I know lol).
