Kitchen and Family HubHi,
I recently bought the Samsung Bespoke fridge model number: RF23DB9700QLAA
I have a reverse osmosis filtration system set up in my house, so I had the plumber connect it to my fridge and then removed the filter as was recommended by Samsung in a post I saw in this community. But now there is no water coming out of my fridge whatsoever. Isn't the fridge supposed to have an automatic bypass? It only starts working again when I put the filter back in, but since it is also connected to the RO system, the pressure is compromised. Is there a dummy filter I can use? I haven't been able to find anything that would work for this fridge model.
Thank you!

Kitchen and Family HubHello there TMF1,
Yes, you're correct the removal of the filter should not affect the water being dispensed. Although you've had the plumber connect your system, it can be very resourceful to have a certified Samsung technician inspect the refrigerator and perform any technical service that may be deemed necessary. Please use this service link to proceed https://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/.

Kitchen and Family HubPrior to my Bespoke refrigerator I had a Frigidaire that had slow flow. The service tech had a dummy (empty) filter cartridge he used to measure water flow. Without this test device their was no water flow. So I am guessing that no filter cartridge means no water.

Kitchen and Family HubI am having the same problem. I removed the filter and then no water at all. Put filter back in and it works again. But I don't want the filter, because I already am filtering the water with my Reverse Osmosis filters.
