looks like the ability to easily upload pictures from Google photos is going away. The Family hub app is called "Connect to Google Photos". It allows one to easily add photos directly from Google photos to the hub.

I am aware that one can do it via Smart things, but that doesn't work as nicely. I love this integration, how can we get Samsung to reconsider this decision?

Well, at least you don't need Google photos on the hub anymore.

It’s really frustrating that there’s no direct way to upload photos from a computer anymore. I spent a lot of money on this fridge, and the one feature that actually worked is being discontinued. The only remaining options are USB or using a phone, which is ridiculous. I want a solution to upload photos directly from a desktop, without having to copy them to my phone or a USB drive.

I see all those Amazon apps, if you are Prime, Amazon  has unlimited photo storage and if the Amazon photos app can be added to the screen, that may be an alternative for you.  Why do people want their photos on their fridge anyway? Is this the new equivalent of the refrigerator magnet?

Not to be rude, but could express why you're interested in uploading photos to the internet?

Not to the Internet but it allows you to upload to the fridge directly.
