Which current Samsung icemaker model is compatible with my icemaker model DA99-02321A (Rev 0.1) from a 2014 side-by-side refrigerator RS265TDRS/XAA? I need to replace mine.
My icemaker's appearance seems to be the same as model DA97-11092B, but I don't want to buy one on appearance alone.
I have seen discussions that suggest that models with numbers ending in A are incompatible with models with numbers ending in B, particularly in the wiring connectors.
If there is no compatible replacement, is there a possibility of replacing an appropriate part in my current unit?
The problem is that the unit does not produce ice. No water reaches the unit. If I put the water in manually, it freezes but is never dispensed.
The test button produces a chime and another chime about six minutes later. I could not hear any mechanical sounds during the test.
The water dispenser in the door works, delivering 170 ml in 10 seconds.
