RS27T5200SG, 2.5 yr old. Top two shelves freezer not freezing. Bottom two are good. Frig side is getting minimal cooling. Fan behind lower back panel is operating. any DIY solutions before I buy a from a competitor?
Put in a service request - your repair may be covered, at least in part, depending on what's causing the lack of cooling. I believe the sealed refrigerator components have a 10 year warranty, as opposed to the general appliance warranty for the other components of the refrigerator. In any case, a service visit/repair is likely to be less than purchasing a new unit.
