Hi. I’ve got a HW-Q850A/ZA. Out of no where the sound bar started announcing Mic On and Mic Off over and over again. I’m very happy with the system, but this renders it unusable as it’s doing this constantly. The mic is a feature I never intend on using. Is there anyway to disable the mic completely so it stops turning it on and off? I’ve tried resets several times which did not work and this happens regardless of if anything is connected, what input it’s on etc. Hoping someone can help

Hello there @Kkelly513 and welcome to the community!  By any chance, is there anything sitting on top of the soundbar? There is a button that looks like a circle with a line through it that you would press to disable/enable the microphone.  If there isn't anything on top of the buttons I would suggest unplugging the for 2 minutes, plugging it back in and then pressing the button to turn off the microphone.

Also, if the soundbar has never been updated, try that as well.  I am including links to both the update as well as how to go about doing it.

The update: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/downloads/?model=N0021435&modelCode=HW-Q850A/ZA

How to perform the update: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00082755/#:~:text=Unplug%20the%20soundbar%2C%20the%20su....
