been thinking about upgrading my smartwatch. saw some galaxy watch ultra black friday deals and wondering if anyone grabbed one yet. are they actually a good deal or better to wait?
That would depend at what price point you would consider a Black Friday deal "worth it". There are many good deals to be had on Samsung products on Black Friday, many of the best deals coming from Samsung themselves. Best Buy usually has excellent BF deals on Samsung, and I have found that normally a Samsung rep camps out at Best Buy locations from BF to Christmas to answer your questions. In my mind, if I was planning on buying a new device anyway, any deal I would get on BF would be worth it. If you are planning on getting an LTE version, check with your carrier, they may be giving a "free" one with a new line of service, although I believe the giveaway watches are normally standard models. They may throw in the Ultra as BF incentive.

I am personally waiting until the day of black Friday, potentially cyber Monday to really start looking. Last year on the day of black Friday I was able to trade my GW5 for a GW7 for $0 after trade in.
Not saying anything crazy like that will happen again, but keep an eye out. The early deals are often not as aggressive as the actual day of.
Yeah, there's nothing worse than taking advantage of an early BF deal, and then finding out on BF/cyber Monday that there was a better deal to be had.
