Is the Galaxy watch 8 worth it?

I am evaluating the potential acquisition of the latest Galaxy Watch, despite currently possessing alternative smartwatches with similar functionalities. My primary concern is whether the Samsung Galaxy Watch justifies its cost, particularly when considering the alternative of purchasing another mobile phone at the same price point.

Which mobile device are you considering purchasing? If it's a Samsung, then you'll get access to all the Samsung specific features of the Galaxy Watch plus all that is Google. If it's a different android device you may still have most features, but some Samsung specific ones may be limited. Also, which new Galaxy Watch model are you considering?

Fossil Gen6, but now they have stopped making Fossil smartwatches.

If you want a good watch, you could try Galaxy Watch 7. Watch 8 will be released in a few days.

The main reason why I'm not considering the watch 8, is because we can't no longer use the watch bands we been using, which there are so many different styles of it and designs, because they are more universal.. I have the watch 7 LTE. The watch requires an specific type, like the one for the Apple watch. And let's be realistic, Samsung won't get the same treatment from manufacturers. My smart watch doesn't look like a smart watch, because I change the bands constantly and it's more like an accessory. 2, it's ugly AF, seriously? Who thought that was a nice design, a round screen on top of a squarecle?! 😂 I don't care that is a bit thinner, but it looks like a prototype device. 🤦🏼‍♀️

I agree. I have the LTE watch 6 and have about 20 bands.

And it's terrible how it's hard to get cute bands like Apple.
