Galaxy WatchI baught the galaxy watch 7, and it arrived a couple days ago, but the battery is horrible. I have looked up multiple videos on how to reduce battery life, but it barely works.
I use the watch normally and it could max, last 6 hours, but when I use an app the battery drains at one percent every minute.
Should I get a galaxy watch 6 or do I just give it back.

Galaxy WatchPersonally, my next watch will be a Garmin. Their battery life absolutely decimates anything from Samsung, some models by multiple weeks.

Galaxy WatchTo turn everything off and not use the health features, kind of defeats the purpose of having the smart watch in the first place. May as well go buy a Timex. The biggest battery sucker is the screen brightness. Turn it down to the lowest comfortable level. Even with AOD off, every time the screen turns on, it uses a lot of power. Turn off lift to wake in favor of tap to wake, that way the screen won't be turning on every time you move your arm. LTE only sucks power if you are away from your phone. Even then it doesn't pull too much power unless you make or receive phone calls. What really drains power is if you have remote connection on so that your phone stays connected to your watch via Google Cloud Services when out of BT range. It then needs to be connected to either mobile data or a wi-fi network and *that* draws a good deal of battery.

Galaxy WatchCharged 4 hours and 26 minutes ago. Now at 96%. Mobile data is on, auto wi-fi is on, connected to the phone via BT; and I just took a half hour, .86 mile walk with all the sensors on. Do a diagnostic on the watch and/or reset it.

Galaxy WatchThat would be easiest, but I think you should try a reset first, also keep in mind the first week or so, the watch uses a lot of energy setting itself up, updating, and learning your usage patterns. So keep that in mind with any exchange - you might not see the improvement in battery life you are expecting. It does not mean the watch or battery is defective, it just means it's working harder to put itself in order and learn your usage. Also, lower the screen brightness - even if you don't keep AOD on, each time you check your watch, the screen uses a lot of power the brighter it is. Turn off "raise wrist to wake", because every time you raise your wrist for anything, that screen goes on. Use tap screen to wake.
