I've had the Galaxy Watch 7 for about 7 months and suddenly started developing a red welt under the face of the Watch. I don't get it wet or sweat with it on, clean it after each use and am wondering why the welts now? I use it only every other day at a maximum of 10 hrs at a time. I don't use any of the health sensors.

Anyone know what's up with that? Like I mentioned, it only started suddenly in the past week.

You might just have sensitive skin? Or one possibility could be that you turned on continuous heart rate monitoring, which would cause the red and green light on the back of your watch that reads your heart rate and blood oxygen. To be on all the time, causing some kind of reaction with your skin? Check your settings and see if heart rate monitoring is set to continuous?

What do you mean you don't use any of the health sensors?  You only use in watch only mode and have everything else off?  You may not think you sweat under the watch, but everyone does. For most people it's not noticeable.  Over time, skin oils and skin cells build up under watches, so when you take it off or put it on, it's best to take a microfiber cloth and wipe the back.  You may have a sensitivity to the radio waves inherent in BT/LTE/Wi-Fi transmission.

There is such a thing as that type of sensitivity. Electrical waves close to the skin can cause issues.  Although, it is much more likely that it is skin oil/cell accumulation under the watch.

There is no scientific evidence that this causes sensitivity.

More than likely he got a mosquito bite on his wrist.

@Mimi7 What are you cleaning it with? If you are using any chemicals, that may explain the irritation.
