On a day trip last week, my watch7 picked up a "Favorite Location" for weather.  After I returned home, the new location stuck, which is incorrect for my home area.  I tap "Manage on Phone" on the watch face, and it  tells me to add a location on my phone.  But how do I do that?  In the Galaxy Wearable app?  I don't see how to do that.

I have the apps installed on my Pixel 6a.

EDIT:  I should add, I did nothing to set any location anywhere, other than just wearing the watch.  The watch did that all by itself.

You open the weather app on your phone and select your location for weather. If you don't see the waether icon in your app drawer, srarch for it and it will come up. It's hidden until you select to show it on the apps screen.

Thanks for responding, but that didn't help.  I have my home city selected as my  "current location".  There is no place to set a "favorite" location, at least not on my Pixel 6a (Andorid 16).  Maybe that works on Samsung phones.

The watch was able to select a new location (San Gregario) when I was on my day trip, but I don't think it should have been set to the "favorite" location.  And it seems unable to use my current location now.  Seems like a bug to me.

The weather app is supposed to update dynamically by where you are. Because it updates maybe every hour, there is actually no need to set a favorite., and it may keep your last location until it detects your new location. The only reason to set a home location would be if you wanted to check the weather at home while you are away. Personally, I use a different weather app due to the limited settings and customizations on the native weather app (it's also a carryover from one of if my early phones). I use transparent clock and weather. You can get it in the play store if interested.

Exactly what happened to me in London on July 22. Nothing I set or did. Back in NY and the location is still London.

Do you have a non-Samsung android phone?  I did some more searching (asked ChatGPT). The long procedure involves side-loading Samsung Weather on my phone.  I'm thinking that prolly won't work, as Samsung weather is made for Samsung phones.

For now, I simply removed the weather-related Complications on my watch faces.  It sucks, but that's where I'm at.
