Anyone using Signal and getting notifications on the ultra? All the other apps work just fine and I've check all the settings. It's just that one.

Does anyone have it working? I found it's being blocked but don't know why. 1722360013076.jpg

Hello thenoseknows, Thanks for being part of the Community.

Have you gone into the Wearables app>Watch Settings>Notifications>App Notifications and checked to see if notifications are toggled "on" for the Signal app?

Have you downloaded the Signal app to the watch?  There may be an app compatibility issue preventing the notifications.

Tech support asked me if I was using a non galaxy phone.

Confirmed working with a watch 6 on the same device. If I hadn't paid $400 for this thing I'd throw it right in the river.

Garbage.

I've checked all the reasons why these (and other) notifications are not passing to the watch. I confirmed this does NOT happen with a watch 6 on the same device (so it isn't device settings)

At this point, I'd trade the ultra away but it isn't even on their trade in list.

So, for anyone else who has this issue, it is 100% Samsung software breaking these notifications.

If it helps anyone else, it seems the issue is related to the 7/Ultra software. I connected a 6 to the same device, and all the apps worked as intended. I connected the Ultra to a different Sammy device, and the same apps did not mirror on the phone. So it isn't my (or your) device, it's the software/Wear 7. I wonder when they upgrade the older watches to One Ul6 if their **bleep** will break, too.
