I've had my Watch5 for some time now and under my Bluetooth settings it said, 'Connected for Calls, Notifications.' Ever since this update, it strictly says, 'Connected for calls.' I can't reply to messages or texts from the watch, which is mildly frustrating considering I use my watch in place of when I can't be on my phone. I've factory reset my watch a handful of times now, unpaired, repaired, deleted cache, etc. You name it, I've probably done it. Am I missing anything? Any way to fix this? Is this because of the update? Help โ˜น๏ธ

Just upgraded to s25 from s20 zero problems on my old phone with the samsung 7 now I get calls only highly frustrating and disappointing. I have tried all recommended fixes to no avail.

I'm thinking that may be a problem between the S25 and/or OneUI7.0 and the watch.  I have a watch 7 running WearOs5.0 and OneUI6.0 paired with an A54.  My A54, though is still running OneUI6.1. I have zero issues getting or responding to notifications.  My watch also only says "connected for calls".  I believe they just eliminated "and notifications" because it's a given.  If your watch was recently updated, clear the watch cache and see if that helps. If not,  put in an error report through the support tab in the Members App.

I had the same issue. It was driving me nuts. I just did a watch diagnostic. When I got to the notifications part it asked me to allow notification on my galaxy watch manager. It seemed to fix the problem.

Yes, you will not get notifications on you watch unless you allow them in the Watch manager. You can choose which apps you want notifications from on the watch, so you can choose your most important notifications, that way you know if a notification comes to  your watch, it's something you want to see.  I assume you don't need notifications on the watch of store app sales, but might want notifications from your messaging app.

Hey guys! I think I have found the reason for the problem. I just went to the Galaxy wearable app and found the notification settings, allowing all notifications... But then it asked me to reset my watch and I did it and connected to phone again. I think all you have to do is allow notification settings on Galaxy Wearable and reset the Watch. I hope that will help you.
