Galaxy WatchHoping I can get some help from you all! I have had my 40mm 7 non-LTE since August and have been loving it. I am an avid runner and have really not had much issues with GPS until a few weeks ago it went haywire and on a 10 mile run could never really catch the GPS and drained the battery very quickly. Since that time my runs with Samsung health have been all over the place and looking at the maps it is clear something is now much more off with the GPS tracking. I tried resetting the watch to factory settings and uninstalling and reinstalling Samsung health on my phone but no fixes. Would appreciate any tips, I really dont want to send it in for repair since I think somehow it is a software issue. The only thing I can think of is I recently put some work apps on my phone (microsoft authenticator, Imprivata ID, and Company Portal) and don't know if they can somehow interfere. Thank you!

Galaxy WatchDo you run with just your watch, or do you bring your phone with you?

Galaxy WatchI'm not sure it's linked to the GPS for this purpose, but have you tried calibrating the compass app? Are you still getting erratic data on the phone? Maybe you need to re-calibrate Google Maps. Open Maps on your phone, tap your location dot, and pull up the handle at the lower end of the map and tap "calibrate" then follow the instructions.

Galaxy WatchThank you for reaching out. I can certainly understand your concern with your GPS not being accurate and would be happy to look into this further for you. In order to better assist you, are you verifying your location is fixed before starting the run?
