Unable to reply to Facebook messenger notifications on Galaxy watch

Have the Samsung ultra watch. Turned on notifications in app for messenger get notifications on watch for messenger but when I reply and hit sent it says sent but it doesn't appear in the messenger window has anyone got it to work.

Yes. I was getting the messages with an alert triangle and didn't realize that was the informer app opening. It disappears when I tap it to try to read the message, then just the messenger window is open. I didnt realize what thet alert was until I manually opened the app on the watch and saw the messages. That's when I eas able to read the warning that the app did not have permission to read messages on the phone. There doesn't seem to be a way to enable that.

I ignore the message.  Also if you go into the app on your phone, you can select to have the typing box appear on top.  I just type my message and hit send.  Also you can change the time on your watch so that the screen goes blank after one minute so it gives you time to reply.

I'll try that. So you get that alert also? Does it strobe for you?

I think the only way to get rid of the alert is to purchase the app but unfortunately Google Play have removed the payment authority for this app because it is based in Russia.  I did contact the developer direclty and they gave me a link where I could pay for the app and they would send me a download for the paid version, but I was reluctant to do as it didn't seem to be a secure payment and I was worried they might get my bank card details and fraudently use it.

I am unable to respond to my Facebook messenger notifications from my watch ultra as well! But I know for a fact just 2 weeks ago I was able to!

Well, maybe the update just caught up with you.

While the tech support from the app developer has been stellar, I had to delete the app from my watch and phone, as it was useless for me.  I hope that Meta fixes it soon.

I received the notification in my watch but when I write to respond the message never arrived to the other person, I write normal the message say sent but never arrive

If you sent from the watch, syncronize it with the phone. If you have a line in the watch, check what number is sending the message , the phone line, or the watch line.
