I am not sure if my number is paired via sharing/sync number. Actually, I just got this watch and at first it was syncing my messages I texted from my watch into my phone text feed then it stopped, and I am not sure why.
Thank you for that information. When you set up your phone, did you set it up through your carrier for an LTE plan or is your watch just connected by Bluetooth?
Thank you for the additional information. I would recommend reaching out to your carrier to see if you have NumberSync or numbershare on your watch as the first step. This will make sure that your watch didn't change to its own separate number or that the syncing of the phone service is connected still.
The messages app on the watch and phone are in sync, so everything you text from the watch should appear when you open the app on your phone, and vice versa. It actually does not matter which texting app you use, or whether you use different apps on your phone and watch. Texts come through your carrier's servers and are delivered to your phone number. Messaging apps are just shells--containers for delivery and organization.
