My Samsung Pay watch plug in was just fine yesterday.  All my cards were in and worked, as they have for the past 2 years.  This morning, I went to pay for something using my watch and found that somehow the watch plug in had been reset and all my cards deleted--had to pull out the phone and pay that way.  Not having to do that was the reason #2 why I bought the watch in the first place.

I fixed it, and added all my cards back, but I don't know why it happened at all.  Nothing else on my watch or phone was amiss, and an app reset is not the kind of thing that happens by accident.  There were no updates, no sudden failure of the watch -- everything was normal and working fine.

Anyone have any ideas as to what happened?

Very odd. I use my watch for payment frequently.

If you're using Samsung pay, you shouldn't have to re-enter or rescan your cards. Just use the import card feature and provide the verification info and you don't have to scan them again.

Yeah, except when they erase and the app says you have no cards to import.  This is the 3rd time in 3 months that I had to re-enter everything after *years* of no problems. Also, importing is just as time consuming as scanning them in, as you have to enter certain security information to activate the cards.

This is the 6th time feels like a security violation,I know it's not but Samsung is a bit lowsy these days with continuous support, spotty at best , non existent at worst

I don't care what "everyone" on Reddit is saying.  I want to use what I want to use, but I have no problem switching if S-Pay continues to be like this.

Thank you for reaching out. I can certainly understand your concern with your cards being deleted. As many of you have already submitted an error report, the next step would be to reach out to our Samsung Wallet/Pay team directly using the contact information in this link: https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Samsung-Apps-and-Services/Samsung-Support-Acknowledgement/td-p/2...

Please keep us updated after you speak to Samsung Pay if you continue to experience these symptoms, so we can look into this further for you.

This was absolutely useless info. Problem still persists, the help on this forum is peer to peer with a pathetic link to either outdated FAQ or Galaxy watch 6 only support on the website.

My Watch Wallet have been reset 3 times in the last 3 months. But now it's even worse because I cannot anymore import my cards : the Watch Wallet app reset every time in the middle of the enrolment process. I have report a defect. I hope Samsung is aware of the situation and is working on it.

I called and talked to SP support yesterday and they said it's a known issue. They've reached out to Google to work with them to insure this doesn't happen again when updates are pushed out. Not sure when there will be a fix rolled out. Mine has done it to me twice now. First time I had to reset my Watch4 because it wouldn't finish installing to my "new" S24U (have had it since Jan). Yesterday I was able to re-import my cards which were still in Samsung Wallet on my phone. In other message threads on this forum it was suggested to put Google Wallet on your watch and use it. You can program the Home button double press to open it.
