Ever since I updated my watch to the latest big update on April 15th, my Galaxy watch 7 will get stuck on measuring oxygen.
It starts at 0% and goes all the way to 99% and then stays at 99% indefinitely. I have to close it and try it again. My factory reset my watch but nothing fixes it. Is anyone else having this issue with the new update of Galaxy watch 7?

Anyone who's experiencing this problem should consider sending it in for either a warranty repair or a repair if their warranty expired. It seems like the update in April somehow bricked the sensor. My watch's entire PCA had to be replaced and now it's working perfectly. In the automotive world this would have been a recall but who knows why Samsung's not acting on this. Maybe they rely on the portion of people who never use their SpO2 sensors so those people won't ever think there's a problem anyway.

I have the same problem, whats weird is that even after the major update to UI 8.0, it is still doing the same thing. Clearly something more indepth as gone wrong. I have OSA and have been relying on the feedback from the watch oxygen monitoring during sleep to tailor my CPAP settings. Something needs to be done about this ASAP, I mean it has been months!

This is the exact reason I need the sensor too. And its been months. Im left trying to find a technician to send it to to be fixed since samsung say they can no longer assist from the multiple error reports I am sending. But where I live they are all third party samsung affiliates and want me to pay to fix it.

Had I done something wrong or careless for it to stop working fair enough,  but to now have to pay to fix something that stopped working because of a software update? It leaves a bit of a bad taste. They still insist its not the update

Same issue here. Feedback says only that they have submitted the issue to developers with no update since.
