Raise to wake

I have a Watch8 and Ultra (2024) and when I turn off sleep mode, the "raise to wake" function is turned off. Does anyone else have this problem? Is it a known issue?

Does it restrict raise to wake only when you turn it off manually not when it turns off automatically?

Looking at the routine for the sleep mode, besides turning off raise to wake, it also turns off always on display and touch screen to wake. Do either one of those work after you turn it off manually or are they still restricted also? If they are still restricted, it might be because you are turning off the routine manually rather than letting it turn off automatically so it resets to previous functions or actions. Hope that makes sense.

I use touch screen to wake, and I find the sleep mode, does it turn it off. I need to turn the feature back on after sleep mode ends. Perhaps Samsung will fix this in an update. The features that were turned of should be turned back on after sleep mode.ends.

I've noticed the same behavior on my GWU2025. It's very annoying to have to turn touch screen to wake back on every day. For what it's worth, send a complaint to support. The more reports they get the more likely they'll fix it. We hope

I've never understood why my "raise wrist to wake" seems to randomly turn itself off a few times each week. If it was dependent on Sleep Mode turning on or off, this would happen every day - but it doesn't. My Sleep Mode is set up to start at a certain time and turn off at a certain time. Raise wrist to wake should be on whenever Sleep Mode isn't. The only recourse I've found is to manually turn it on again.

Same here. Just randomly turns itself off. Fortunately, it doesn't turn itself on when sleeping. 😎

I set up a routine to turn on raise to wake and touch to wake , called it wake up. Works just great now.

This sounds like a plan. Can you advise how you did this? I can only find the option to open the Wear app.
