Galaxy Watch 7/Ultra resetting

The weirdest thing has happened a couple times and now I'm concerned. For no apparent reason, my watch keeps doin a forced reset. I then have to go through the whole process of setting it up again. This time around it completely changed the way my watch is set up. Face, settings and icon order. Can anyone help me understand why this is happening? This thing cost too much and is only 4 months old. 😡

I got it around February 19th it is now April 7th it has disconnected and made me reset it 3 times already. Software is updated at&t said nothing wrong that they can see told me to contact samsung they told me to post here and see if yall can fix the bug!

Same thing happened with mine, I got mine through my carrier so they just replaced it.

They told me it falls under manufacturing warranty and Samsung needs to replace it. They want to see if it gets fixed before they have to do that ig

There's a long convoluted thread the moderators put together of all the posts about this. It's a bug in the January OS release. They're supposedly working on a fix in the next update.

FWIW, this is not happening with my Classic 6. I often swap between the ultra and Classic (SS is dressier).

I got my watch ultra direct from Samsung a few weeks ago and have had to repair with my phone 3-4 times a week. In doing so I have to spend hours rebuilding my watch faces (yes I have backup on and current). All apps and operating system are current as well. This watch is junk compared to my watch 5 pro. Samsung should be ashamed to sell this for the price they ask. Don't buy this watch.

Agreed. It's pretty horrid. The backups don't really backup anything. I turned my LTE plan off on my watch and that send to have helped with the disconnect and reset issue. ::knock on wood::

Galaxy Ultra Watch same reset issue. Watch requires reset every several days. It appears to be related to the separation of phone and Watch for extended period of time. Very frustrating to have to reset to prepare for activities.

I'm having to reset at least once a week, sometimes more.
