New Watch Ultra update issues during workouts

I've seen several discussion threads on various places including Reddit that are showing consistent issues with the data tracking and time display during workouts after the new update. My wife's device just got affected by this issue after the update applied this morning.

I have not seen Samsung address this anywhere. Is there any detail about these known issues, and any sort of a plan to address them?

Watch screen takes several seconds to refresh and display the correct information during workouts. Frustrating and unacceptable.

Same tried resetting to factory and all setting changed for no pause and still pauses

Same issue here. The Duration time on during workout keeps freezing and it is really annoying. It only restarts if you double tab or hit the back button.

Galaxy Watch 7 for me. It's incredibly annoying and makes the watch unusable for workouts.  Need a fix ASAP.

Was tapping to refresh while extremely high heart rate and out of breath today. I should just be able to look down and see where I'm at, not tap and refresh. I didn't get the watch to refresh and gave up only to discover that my workout had been paused. This new "feature" is horrible! Please give us a way to return to the old workout timer/monitor function, i.e. a way to turn off the new "feature".

I've the same issue. 

When I'm working out, if I check my watch the display is always frozen, I've to go back to the main menu and click the workout again in order for it to refresh. 

I'm tired of this, this is by far the worst smartwatch I've ever had, and this update even turned it worse.

My Apple Watch was so much better, I miss it so much.
