New Watch Ultra update issues during workouts

I've seen several discussion threads on various places including Reddit that are showing consistent issues with the data tracking and time display during workouts after the new update. My wife's device just got affected by this issue after the update applied this morning.

I have not seen Samsung address this anywhere. Is there any detail about these known issues, and any sort of a plan to address them?

Samsung you HAVE to fix this. It makes the live health tracking utterly USELESS which is the reason for owning this device.

I have the same issue with my W7LTE and it started when I installed the latest update (24/4-2025). The screen freezing and then catching up until it freezes again for 10-30 sec or so. It is really annoying and messes up my workout. FIX IT!

@Samsung Hello? You just broke a basic feature for any sport watch. Useless right now. All forums are full of complains. What about a reaction somewhere? Are you working on it? **bleep**, i'm beyond frustrated.

Oh and while you're on fixing this silly bug.. what about give us options  with the Ultra's action button IN a workout. Like a basic start/stop for example. Cause, starting a stopwatch timer while in my running session is not something people probably prefer?! My head just can't cope with the software limitations the Ultra has. Handle the Ultra as a sport watch not a gimmick. /unhappy

Thanks for this. It blows my mind that they're still not responding to multiple threads on this forum. Also they refer to screen freezing but they do not discuss the always-on display turning off. The **bleep** well better be addressing it also.

Is it not a basic function for any smart band to allow you to track your workout time and health measurements while using the workout setting?  This is horrible.  I have to tap 2 - 4 times to get it to come back up. How is this supposed to be helpful when you are working out?

Samsung finally released update for Samsung Health app on the watch. It seems that they fixed it.

On your watch go to settings-> applications->Samsung applications updates -> and Samsung Health.

But still I'm really disappointed that this kind of bug was introduced.

Been having this issue for 2 months I'm switching to Apple. Tired of Samsung not caring about customers. I'm gonna make sure everyone I know hears about this nonsense.
