The new smaller tiles are horrible. Where are the full screen apps? Its just a watch face - to have to scroll and tap on a tile just to see more info defeats the purpose of glancing at your watch. Each page also does not need a title. I dont need to know that the health monitor is an "Activity". Its just a watch face - stop cluttering and making things smaller.

You can still set large tiles. You don't have to use the small tiles.

As for quick, glance-able info, I find watch faces with complications far more efficient than tiles. Rather than scrolling through multiple pages, tapping the complication opens directly to a full screen view. Ultra Info Board is my go-to for this purpose.

I can't find anywhere to set larger tiles again. Could you please elaborate?

In your Wear app, go to Tiles. Then select the full screen tiles instead of the smaller ones. These are available for most features, but not all. 1766412979281.jpg

Prepare for them to argue with you that those are not full screen tiles because they are oblong.

You still have to scroll to a tile, so there is no "glancing at your watch" for information.  As long as you still have to scroll to the tile, it's not a big inconvenience to tap a widget for extended information.  The important stuff shows at a glance.  For information while just glancing at your watch, I'm with @CEParsons , just choose a customizable watch face with as many or as few complications as you need and add the complications for one glance information.

I rather like that I can use the smaller widgets stacked on a tile to reduce my tile count, and thus the endless scrolling to get to the tile I want.  It was a waste of space to fill up a tile with all the info detail of a single function.
