Galaxy WatchHere is the background:
- I am running with my Galaxy Watch Ultra using Samsung Health
- I am listening to a podcast on Spotify
- Watch Ultra software version: L705USQU1AYCD
Previously, when I would reach a kilometer mark, the podcast would pause and I would hear the voice from Samsung Health telling me about my stats for the last kilometer. For a while now, unsure if it was after an update, the music no longer pauses and the Health voice just plays on top of the podcast making it very difficult to hear.
Is this a known bug or user error? Any settings I should be checking?

Galaxy WatchMy headphones are connected to the phone. Since I have used my current and previous Samsung watches, the music would pause for the voice guide and then resume right afterwards. I think it's a good feature, and I'm unsure if a configuration controls this or if the behavior was recently changed.

Galaxy WatchI'm pretty sure it pauses and has always paused for me, I don't think there's a control for it, I think it's just automatic. It actually should not matter which device your headphones are connected to, I just connect it to my watch because I uploaded my music to my watch and many times I walk without my phone (the whole point of an LTE watch). Try clearing the cache of the health app and the music player app you use. Also see if the behavior is any different if you connect your headphones to the watch, as that may indicate an issue with your phone and the OneUI7 update (assuming you got it). You can use Spotify on the watch.
I am using a Watch 7 with OneUI6.0/WearOS5.0

Galaxy WatchI have cleared the cache, but the voice guide is still playing over the other sound source.
I am running OneUI7 on my phone. I'm not sure if the problem is with the watch or the phone yet.

Galaxy WatchHave you connected your buds to your watch? That would be one of the two ways to tell. The other way would be to leave your watch at home, and just use the phone on your excursion and see if it still happens. If it happens with the watch left behind, it's likely the phone. If it happens with the buds connected to the watch, while listening to your podcast *from* the watch, then it really could be either. But, if it doesn't happen when connected to the watch, then it's definitely the phone, probably caused by the update, and you should put in an error report. You might also try a factory reset of the phone, if you are willing, as with a reset you get a whole new operating system without the encumbrance of being overlaid over the old one, which could be causing the confusion for the app. There was also an update to the Health app overnight last night.
Are you using Galaxy buds? It could also be an error with the buds not getting the pause notice.

Galaxy WatchOut of curiosity, which brand of ear gear are you using? The fault could lie in the buds. I use Toshiba buds, not Samsung. If you are using the Galaxy buds, as I mentioned prior, it could be an issue with the buds.
